IDA total vs Niger: Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions (total) excluding LULUCF
Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions (total) excluding LULUCF over time
- IDA total
- Niger
How they compare
Niger currently reports 326.0% against 109.7% in IDA total, a difference of 216.3%.
That makes Niger's figure about 3.0 times IDA total's.
Across all 34 years both countries report, Niger has been ahead every year.
IDA total ranks 9th and Niger ranks 9th of 45 groups.
Niger has averaged higher in every one of the 4 decades both report.
Head to head by decade

About this data
Change of emissions (as %) of current year with respect to emissions in baseline year 1990 emissions of nitrous oxide (N2O), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the agriculture, energy, waste, and industrial sectors, excluding LULUCF.. The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5). Negative values indicate that the emission level for that year is lower than the emissions level in 1990.
