Chile vs Croatia: Nutrient balance — Cropland nitrogen per unit area
Nutrient balance — Cropland nitrogen per unit area over time
- Chile
- Croatia
How they compare
Chile currently reports 92.89 kg/ha against 86.46 kg/ha in Croatia, a difference of 6.43 kg/ha.
That makes Chile's figure about 1.1 times Croatia's.
The two have swapped places 7 times across 32 shared years of data; in 1992 it was Croatia ahead.
Chile ranks 36th and Croatia ranks 39th of 201 countries.
Across the 4 decades both report, Chile averaged higher in 1 and Croatia in 3.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Chile | Croatia | Difference | Ahead |

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
