Eastern Asia vs Viet Nam: Nutrient balance — Cropland nitrogen per unit area
Nutrient balance — Cropland nitrogen per unit area over time
- Eastern Asia
- Viet Nam
How they compare
Eastern Asia currently reports 153.24 kg/ha against 128.11 kg/ha in Viet Nam, a difference of 25.13 kg/ha.
That makes Eastern Asia's figure about 1.2 times Viet Nam's.
The two have swapped places 4 times across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Eastern Asia ahead.
Eastern Asia ranks 1st and Viet Nam ranks 1st of 29 groups.
Across the 7 decades both report, Eastern Asia averaged higher in 6 and Viet Nam in 1.

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
