Rwanda vs Tunisia: Nutrient balance — Cropland nitrogen per unit area
Nutrient balance — Cropland nitrogen per unit area over time
- Rwanda
- Tunisia
How they compare
Tunisia currently reports 13.98 kg/ha against 12.73 kg/ha in Rwanda, a difference of 1.25 kg/ha.
That makes Tunisia's figure about 1.1 times Rwanda's.
The two have swapped places 8 times across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Tunisia ahead.
Rwanda ranks 143rd and Tunisia ranks 140th of 201 countries.
Across the 7 decades both report, Rwanda averaged higher in 1 and Tunisia in 6.

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
