Bahamas vs Iceland: Nutrient balance — Cropland phosphorus per unit area
Nutrient balance — Cropland phosphorus per unit area over time
- Bahamas
- Iceland
How they compare
Iceland currently reports 16.36 kg/ha against 15.22 kg/ha in Bahamas, a difference of 1.14 kg/ha.
That makes Iceland's figure about 1.1 times Bahamas's.
The two have swapped places 14 times across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Iceland ahead.
Bahamas ranks 35th and Iceland ranks 32nd of 201 countries.
Across the 7 decades both report, Bahamas averaged higher in 1 and Iceland in 6.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Bahamas | Iceland | Difference | Ahead |

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
