Lesotho vs Liberia: Nutrient balance — Cropland phosphorus per unit area
Nutrient balance — Cropland phosphorus per unit area over time
- Lesotho
- Liberia
How they compare
Liberia currently reports 0.202 kg/ha against 0.1206 kg/ha in Lesotho, a difference of 0.0814 kg/ha.
That makes Liberia's figure about 1.7 times Lesotho's.
The two have swapped places 8 times across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Liberia ahead.
Lesotho ranks 129th and Liberia ranks 128th of 201 countries.
Lesotho has averaged higher in every one of the 7 decades both report.

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
