Czechoslovakia vs Mexico: Nutrient balance — Cropland phosphorus
Nutrient balance — Cropland phosphorus over time
- Czechoslovakia
- Mexico
How they compare
Mexico currently reports 100,045 t against 87,122 t in Czechoslovakia, a difference of 12,923 t.
That makes Mexico's figure about 1.1 times Czechoslovakia's.
The two have swapped places 2 times across 32 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Czechoslovakia ahead.
Czechoslovakia ranks 16th and Mexico ranks 14th of 201 countries.
Czechoslovakia has averaged higher in every one of the 4 decades both report.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Czechoslovakia | Mexico | Difference | Ahead |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1960s | 269,649 t | -1,013 t | 270,661 t | Czechoslovakia |
| 1970s | 435,328 t | 48,233 t | 387,095 t | Czechoslovakia |

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
