- Africa
- Tajikistan
How they compare
Tajikistan currently reports 58.06 kg/ha against -8.16 kg/ha in Africa, a difference of 66.22 kg/ha.
That makes Tajikistan's figure about 7.1 times Africa's.
Across all 32 years both countries report, Tajikistan has been ahead every year.
Africa ranks 24th and Tajikistan ranks 28th of 29 groups.
Tajikistan has averaged higher in every one of the 4 decades both report.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Africa | Tajikistan | Difference | Ahead |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1990s | -4.49 kg/ha | 28.68 kg/ha | 33.17 kg/ha | Tajikistan |
| 2000s | -5.72 kg/ha | 29.88 kg/ha | 35.61 kg/ha | Tajikistan |

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
