Belgium vs Mongolia: Nutrient balance — Cropland potassium per unit area
Nutrient balance — Cropland potassium per unit area over time
- Belgium
- Mongolia
How they compare
Mongolia currently reports 186.16 kg/ha against 140.07 kg/ha in Belgium, a difference of 46.09 kg/ha.
That makes Mongolia's figure about 1.3 times Belgium's.
The two have swapped places 1 time across 24 shared years of data; in 2000 it was Belgium ahead.
Belgium ranks 11th and Mongolia ranks 8th of 201 countries.
Across the 3 decades both report, Belgium averaged higher in 2 and Mongolia in 1.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Belgium | Mongolia | Difference | Ahead |

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
