Bhutan vs Saudi Arabia: Nutrient balance — Cropland potassium per unit area
Nutrient balance — Cropland potassium per unit area over time
- Bhutan
- Saudi Arabia
How they compare
Saudi Arabia currently reports 10.04 kg/ha against 9.1 kg/ha in Bhutan, a difference of 0.94 kg/ha.
That makes Saudi Arabia's figure about 1.1 times Bhutan's.
The two have swapped places 7 times across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Bhutan ahead.
Bhutan ranks 86th and Saudi Arabia ranks 83rd of 185 countries.
Across the 7 decades both report, Bhutan averaged higher in 6 and Saudi Arabia in 1.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Bhutan | Saudi Arabia | Difference | Ahead |

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
