Qatar vs South-Eastern Asia: Nutrient balance — Cropland potassium per unit area
Nutrient balance — Cropland potassium per unit area over time
- Qatar
- South-Eastern Asia
How they compare
Qatar currently reports 142.34 kg/ha against 13.63 kg/ha in South-Eastern Asia, a difference of 128.71 kg/ha.
That makes Qatar's figure about 10.4 times South-Eastern Asia's.
The two have swapped places 4 times across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Qatar ahead.
Qatar ranks 10th and South-Eastern Asia ranks 10th of 185 countries.
Qatar has averaged higher in every one of the 7 decades both report.
Head to head by decade

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
