Czechoslovakia vs Japan: Nutrient balance — Cropland potassium
Nutrient balance — Cropland potassium over time
- Czechoslovakia
- Japan
How they compare
Czechoslovakia currently reports 194,950 t against 141,119 t in Japan, a difference of 53,831 t.
That makes Czechoslovakia's figure about 1.4 times Japan's.
The two have swapped places 1 time across 32 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Czechoslovakia ahead.
Czechoslovakia ranks 26th and Japan ranks 27th of 201 countries.
Across the 4 decades both report, Czechoslovakia averaged higher in 3 and Japan in 1.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Czechoslovakia | Japan | Difference | Ahead |

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
