Americas vs Singapore: Outputs — Cropland nitrogen per unit area
Outputs — Cropland nitrogen per unit area over time
- Americas
- Singapore
How they compare
Singapore currently reports 162.46 kg/ha against 99.93 kg/ha in Americas, a difference of 62.53 kg/ha.
That makes Singapore's figure about 1.6 times Americas's.
The two have swapped places 2 times across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Singapore ahead.
Americas ranks 3rd and Singapore ranks 5th of 32 groups.
Across the 7 decades both report, Americas averaged higher in 1 and Singapore in 6.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Americas | Singapore | Difference | Ahead |

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
