Brazil vs Eastern Asia: Outputs — Cropland nitrogen per unit area
Outputs — Cropland nitrogen per unit area over time
- Brazil
- Eastern Asia
How they compare
Brazil currently reports 228.06 kg/ha against 130.35 kg/ha in Eastern Asia, a difference of 97.71 kg/ha.
That makes Brazil's figure about 1.7 times Eastern Asia's.
The two have swapped places 1 time across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Eastern Asia ahead.
Brazil ranks 2nd and Eastern Asia ranks 2nd of 201 countries.
Across the 7 decades both report, Brazil averaged higher in 3 and Eastern Asia in 4.
Head to head by decade

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
