- Eastern Europe
- Ireland
How they compare
Ireland currently reports 96.78 kg/ha against 42.65 kg/ha in Eastern Europe, a difference of 54.13 kg/ha.
That makes Ireland's figure about 2.3 times Eastern Europe's.
Across all 63 years both countries report, Ireland has been ahead every year.
Eastern Europe ranks 18th and Ireland ranks 17th of 32 groups.
Ireland has averaged higher in every one of the 7 decades both report.
Head to head by decade

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
