Ethiopia PDR vs Mongolia: Outputs — Cropland nitrogen per unit area
Outputs — Cropland nitrogen per unit area over time
- Ethiopia PDR
- Mongolia
How they compare
Ethiopia PDR currently reports 12.55 kg/ha against 11.01 kg/ha in Mongolia, a difference of 1.54 kg/ha.
That makes Ethiopia PDR's figure about 1.1 times Mongolia's.
The two have swapped places 12 times across 32 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Ethiopia PDR ahead.
Ethiopia PDR ranks 185th and Mongolia ranks 187th of 201 countries.
Ethiopia PDR has averaged higher in every one of the 4 decades both report.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Ethiopia PDR | Mongolia | Difference | Ahead |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1960s | 9.12 kg/ha | 7.2 kg/ha | 1.92 kg/ha | Ethiopia PDR |
| 1970s | 9.02 kg/ha | 8.53 kg/ha | 0.4904 kg/ha | Ethiopia PDR |
| 1980s | 11.73 kg/ha | 10.7 kg/ha | 1.02 kg/ha | Ethiopia PDR |
| 1990s | 13.74 kg/ha | 9.35 kg/ha | 4.39 kg/ha | Ethiopia PDR |
Averages of every year both report within each decade.

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
