Kiribati vs Southern Europe: Outputs — Cropland nitrogen per unit area
Outputs — Cropland nitrogen per unit area over time
- Kiribati
- Southern Europe
How they compare
Kiribati currently reports 87.3 kg/ha against 36.03 kg/ha in Southern Europe, a difference of 51.27 kg/ha.
That makes Kiribati's figure about 2.4 times Southern Europe's.
The two have swapped places 14 times across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Kiribati ahead.
Kiribati ranks 22nd and Southern Europe ranks 24th of 185 countries.
Kiribati has averaged higher in every one of the 7 decades both report.
Head to head by decade

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
