Kuwait vs South Africa: Outputs — Cropland nitrogen per unit area
Outputs — Cropland nitrogen per unit area over time
- Kuwait
- South Africa
How they compare
Kuwait currently reports 107.3 kg/ha against 44.2 kg/ha in South Africa, a difference of 63.1 kg/ha.
That makes Kuwait's figure about 2.4 times South Africa's.
The two have swapped places 2 times across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Kuwait ahead.
Kuwait ranks 15th and South Africa ranks 17th of 201 countries.
Kuwait has averaged higher in every one of the 7 decades both report.
Head to head by decade

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
