Nepal vs World: Outputs — Cropland nitrogen per unit area
Outputs — Cropland nitrogen per unit area over time
- Nepal
- World
How they compare
Nepal currently reports 124.72 kg/ha against 67.26 kg/ha in World, a difference of 57.46 kg/ha.
That makes Nepal's figure about 1.9 times World's.
The two have swapped places 4 times across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Nepal ahead.
Nepal ranks 11th and World ranks 9th of 201 countries.
Nepal has averaged higher in every one of the 7 decades both report.

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
