Northern Africa vs Oman: Outputs — Cropland nitrogen per unit area
Outputs — Cropland nitrogen per unit area over time
- Northern Africa
- Oman
How they compare
Oman currently reports 77.44 kg/ha against 24.58 kg/ha in Northern Africa, a difference of 52.86 kg/ha.
That makes Oman's figure about 3.2 times Northern Africa's.
The two have swapped places 1 time across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Northern Africa ahead.
Northern Africa ranks 32nd and Oman ranks 30th of 38 regions.
Across the 7 decades both report, Northern Africa averaged higher in 2 and Oman in 5.
Head to head by decade

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
