Oceania vs Polynesia: Outputs — Cropland nitrogen per unit area
Outputs — Cropland nitrogen per unit area over time
- Oceania
- Polynesia
How they compare
Oceania currently reports 61.49 kg/ha against 40.55 kg/ha in Polynesia, a difference of 20.94 kg/ha.
That makes Oceania's figure about 1.5 times Polynesia's.
The two have swapped places 9 times across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Polynesia ahead.
Oceania ranks 11th and Polynesia ranks 11th of 29 groups.
Across the 7 decades both report, Oceania averaged higher in 1 and Polynesia in 6.

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
