Indonesia vs USSR: Outputs — Cropland nitrogen
Outputs — Cropland nitrogen over time
- Indonesia
- USSR
How they compare
USSR currently reports 4.37 million t against 2.64 million t in Indonesia, a difference of 1.72 million t.
That makes USSR's figure about 1.7 times Indonesia's.
Across all 31 years both countries report, USSR has been ahead every year.
Indonesia ranks 8th and USSR ranks 5th of 201 countries.
USSR has averaged higher in every one of the 4 decades both report.
Head to head by decade

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
