Caribbean vs Germany: Outputs — Cropland phosphorus per unit area
Outputs — Cropland phosphorus per unit area over time
- Caribbean
- Germany
How they compare
Germany currently reports 18.32 kg/ha against 7.83 kg/ha in Caribbean, a difference of 10.49 kg/ha.
That makes Germany's figure about 2.3 times Caribbean's.
The two have swapped places 1 time across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Caribbean ahead.
Caribbean ranks 18th and Germany ranks 17th of 29 countries.
Germany has averaged higher in every one of the 7 decades both report.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Caribbean | Germany | Difference | Ahead |

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
