Asia vs Polynesia: Outputs — Cropland potassium per unit area
Outputs — Cropland potassium per unit area over time
- Asia
- Polynesia
How they compare
Asia currently reports 36.67 kg/ha against 24.18 kg/ha in Polynesia, a difference of 12.49 kg/ha.
That makes Asia's figure about 1.5 times Polynesia's.
The two have swapped places 1 time across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Polynesia ahead.
Asia ranks 5th and Polynesia ranks 8th of 18 groups.
Across the 7 decades both report, Asia averaged higher in 2 and Polynesia in 5.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Asia | Polynesia | Difference | Ahead |

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
