Brazil vs Central America: Outputs — Cropland potassium per unit area
Outputs — Cropland potassium per unit area over time
- Brazil
- Central America
How they compare
Brazil currently reports 81.64 kg/ha against 27.23 kg/ha in Central America, a difference of 54.41 kg/ha.
That makes Brazil's figure about 3.0 times Central America's.
The two have swapped places 6 times across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Brazil ahead.
Brazil ranks 11th and Central America ranks 12th of 201 countries.
Brazil has averaged higher in every one of the 7 decades both report.
Head to head by decade

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
