Ethiopia PDR vs Iraq: Outputs — Cropland potassium per unit area
Outputs — Cropland potassium per unit area over time
- Ethiopia PDR
- Iraq
How they compare
Iraq currently reports 6.07 kg/ha against 5.41 kg/ha in Ethiopia PDR, a difference of 0.66 kg/ha.
That makes Iraq's figure about 1.1 times Ethiopia PDR's.
The two have swapped places 14 times across 32 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Ethiopia PDR ahead.
Ethiopia PDR ranks 188th and Iraq ranks 185th of 201 countries.
Ethiopia PDR has averaged higher in every one of the 4 decades both report.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Ethiopia PDR | Iraq | Difference | Ahead |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1960s | 3.69 kg/ha | 3.48 kg/ha | 0.2106 kg/ha | Ethiopia PDR |
| 1970s | 3.79 kg/ha | 3.67 kg/ha | 0.119 kg/ha | Ethiopia PDR |

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
