Malaysia vs Northern Europe: Outputs — Cropland potassium per unit area
Outputs — Cropland potassium per unit area over time
- Malaysia
- Northern Europe
How they compare
Malaysia currently reports 58.76 kg/ha against 21.85 kg/ha in Northern Europe, a difference of 36.91 kg/ha.
That makes Malaysia's figure about 2.7 times Northern Europe's.
The two have swapped places 3 times across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Northern Europe ahead.
Malaysia ranks 16th and Northern Europe ranks 13th of 186 countries.
Across the 7 decades both report, Malaysia averaged higher in 5 and Northern Europe in 2.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Malaysia | Northern Europe | Difference | Ahead |

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
