Mongolia vs Namibia: Outputs — Cropland potassium per unit area
Outputs — Cropland potassium per unit area over time
- Mongolia
- Namibia
How they compare
Mongolia currently reports 3.68 kg/ha against 3.08 kg/ha in Namibia, a difference of 0.6 kg/ha.
That makes Mongolia's figure about 1.2 times Namibia's.
The two have swapped places 10 times across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Mongolia ahead.
Mongolia ranks 197th and Namibia ranks 198th of 201 countries.
Across the 7 decades both report, Mongolia averaged higher in 4 and Namibia in 3.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Mongolia | Namibia | Difference | Ahead |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1960s | 1.8 kg/ha | 1.15 kg/ha | 0.6497 kg/ha | Mongolia |
| 1970s | 2.21 kg/ha | 1.39 kg/ha | 0.8149 kg/ha | Mongolia |
| 1980s | 2.96 kg/ha | 1.67 kg/ha | 1.29 kg/ha | Mongolia |
| 1990s | 1.68 kg/ha | 1.8 kg/ha | 0.121 kg/ha | Namibia |

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
