Asia vs Türkiye: Seed — Cropland nitrogen per unit area
Seed — Cropland nitrogen per unit area over time
- Asia
- Türkiye
How they compare
Asia currently reports 2.15 kg/ha against 1.91 kg/ha in Türkiye, a difference of 0.24 kg/ha.
That makes Asia's figure about 1.1 times Türkiye's.
The two have swapped places 10 times across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Asia ahead.
Asia ranks 6th and Türkiye ranks 7th of 18 groups.
Across the 7 decades both report, Asia averaged higher in 1 and Türkiye in 6.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Asia | Türkiye | Difference | Ahead |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1960s | 1.8 kg/ha | 1.85 kg/ha | 0.0477 kg/ha | Türkiye |
| 1970s | 1.9 kg/ha | 1.95 kg/ha | 0.0449 kg/ha | Türkiye |

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
