Central Asia vs Türkiye: Seed — Cropland nitrogen per unit area
Seed — Cropland nitrogen per unit area over time
- Central Asia
- Türkiye
How they compare
Türkiye currently reports 1.91 kg/ha against 1.76 kg/ha in Central Asia, a difference of 0.15 kg/ha.
That makes Türkiye's figure about 1.1 times Central Asia's.
The two have swapped places 9 times across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Central Asia ahead.
Central Asia ranks 10th and Türkiye ranks 7th of 29 groups.
Across the 7 decades both report, Central Asia averaged higher in 1 and Türkiye in 6.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Central Asia | Türkiye | Difference | Ahead |

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
