How they compare

Eswatini currently reports 13.99 kg/ha against 11.81 kg/ha in Armenia, a difference of 2.18 kg/ha.

That makes Eswatini's figure about 1.2 times Armenia's.

The two have swapped places 4 times across 32 shared years of data; in 1992 it was Eswatini ahead.

Armenia ranks 120th and Eswatini ranks 117th of 186 countries.

Across the 4 decades both report, Armenia averaged higher in 3 and Eswatini in 1.

Head to head by decade

Decade Armenia Eswatini Difference Ahead

The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
