Bangladesh vs Land Locked Developing Countries (LLDCs): Volatilisation — Cropland nitrogen per unit area
Volatilisation — Cropland nitrogen per unit area over time
- Bangladesh
- Land Locked Developing Countries (LLDCs)
How they compare
Bangladesh currently reports 60.43 kg/ha against 10.67 kg/ha in Land Locked Developing Countries (LLDCs), a difference of 49.76 kg/ha.
That makes Bangladesh's figure about 5.7 times Land Locked Developing Countries (LLDCs)'s.
The two have swapped places 2 times across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Bangladesh ahead.
Bangladesh ranks 23rd and Land Locked Developing Countries (LLDCs) ranks 23rd of 201 countries.
Bangladesh has averaged higher in every one of the 7 decades both report.
Head to head by decade

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
