Colombia vs Pakistan: Volatilisation — Cropland nitrogen per unit area
Volatilisation — Cropland nitrogen per unit area over time
- Colombia
- Pakistan
How they compare
Pakistan currently reports 48.06 kg/ha against 45.47 kg/ha in Colombia, a difference of 2.59 kg/ha.
That makes Pakistan's figure about 1.1 times Colombia's.
The two have swapped places 1 time across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Colombia ahead.
Colombia ranks 35th and Pakistan ranks 33rd of 201 countries.
Colombia has averaged higher in every one of the 7 decades both report.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Colombia | Pakistan | Difference | Ahead |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1960s | 9.08 kg/ha | 2.66 kg/ha | 6.41 kg/ha | Colombia |
| 1970s | 14.02 kg/ha | 6.52 kg/ha | 7.5 kg/ha | Colombia |

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
