Guinea vs Niger: Volatilisation — Cropland nitrogen per unit area
Volatilisation — Cropland nitrogen per unit area over time
- Guinea
- Niger
How they compare
Guinea currently reports 1.43 kg/ha against 0.7514 kg/ha in Niger, a difference of 0.6786 kg/ha.
That makes Guinea's figure about 1.9 times Niger's.
The two have swapped places 4 times across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Guinea ahead.
Guinea ranks 197th and Niger ranks 199th of 201 countries.
Across the 7 decades both report, Guinea averaged higher in 6 and Niger in 1.

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
