How they compare

Jordan currently reports 42.11 kg/ha against 39.67 kg/ha in Thailand, a difference of 2.44 kg/ha.

That makes Jordan's figure about 1.1 times Thailand's.

The two have swapped places 15 times across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Thailand ahead.

Jordan ranks 38th and Thailand ranks 40th of 201 countries.

Across the 7 decades both report, Jordan averaged higher in 3 and Thailand in 4.

The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
