Southern Asia vs Türkiye: Volatilisation — Cropland nitrogen per unit area
Volatilisation — Cropland nitrogen per unit area over time
- Southern Asia
- Türkiye
How they compare
Southern Asia currently reports 36.46 kg/ha against 25.49 kg/ha in Türkiye, a difference of 10.97 kg/ha.
That makes Southern Asia's figure about 1.4 times Türkiye's.
The two have swapped places 8 times across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Southern Asia ahead.
Southern Asia ranks 4th and Türkiye ranks 6th of 29 groups.
Southern Asia has averaged higher in every one of the 7 decades both report.
Head to head by decade

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
