Uzbekistan vs World: Volatilisation — Cropland nitrogen per unit area
Volatilisation — Cropland nitrogen per unit area over time
- Uzbekistan
- World
How they compare
Uzbekistan currently reports 86.79 kg/ha against 24.84 kg/ha in World, a difference of 61.95 kg/ha.
That makes Uzbekistan's figure about 3.5 times World's.
Across all 32 years both countries report, Uzbekistan has been ahead every year.
Uzbekistan ranks 10th and World ranks 9th of 201 countries.
Uzbekistan has averaged higher in every one of the 4 decades both report.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Uzbekistan | World | Difference | Ahead |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1990s | 55.47 kg/ha | 19.33 kg/ha | 36.14 kg/ha | Uzbekistan |
| 2000s | 44.56 kg/ha | 21.21 kg/ha | 23.35 kg/ha | Uzbekistan |

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
