Germany vs Mexico: Volatilisation — Cropland nitrogen
Volatilisation — Cropland nitrogen over time
- Germany
- Mexico
How they compare
Mexico currently reports 514,450 t against 404,720 t in Germany, a difference of 109,730 t.
That makes Mexico's figure about 1.3 times Germany's.
The two have swapped places 1 time across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Germany ahead.
Germany ranks 19th and Mexico ranks 17th of 201 countries.
Across the 7 decades both report, Germany averaged higher in 6 and Mexico in 1.

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
