Analysis
In 2024, f-gases emissions from industrial processes in Congo stood at 0.4062 Mt CO2e. That is the highest value across all 35 years on record.
The figure is up 6.9% on the previous year and up 161.2% over ten years.
Over the whole period, f-gases emissions from industrial processes in Congo peaked at 0.4062 Mt CO2e in 2024 and was at its lowest, 0.0002 Mt CO2e, in 1990.
That places Congo 115th out of 154 countries with data for 2024, putting it in the middle of the range.
The series is highly variable year to year, so single readings are best treated with caution.
