How they compare

Argentina currently reports 2.19 million t against 228,001 t in Viet Nam, a difference of 1.96 million t.

That makes Argentina's figure about 9.6 times Viet Nam's.

The two have swapped places 1 time across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Viet Nam ahead.

Argentina ranks 5th and Viet Nam ranks 5th of 176 countries.

Across the 7 decades both report, Argentina averaged higher in 5 and Viet Nam in 2.

The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
