How they compare

Azerbaijan currently reports 1,193 t against 968.43 t in Saudi Arabia, a difference of 224.57 t.

That makes Azerbaijan's figure about 1.2 times Saudi Arabia's.

The two have swapped places 2 times across 32 shared years of data; in 1992 it was Azerbaijan ahead.

Azerbaijan ranks 138th and Saudi Arabia ranks 140th of 191 countries.

Azerbaijan has averaged higher in every one of the 4 decades both report.

Head to head by decade

Decade Azerbaijan Saudi Arabia Difference Ahead
1990s 869.41 t 719.62 t 149.78 t Azerbaijan
2000s 1,111 t 798.76 t 312.32 t Azerbaijan
2010s 1,626 t 921.61 t 704.39 t Azerbaijan

The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
