Eastern Europe vs Thailand: Biological fixation — Cropland nitrogen
Biological fixation — Cropland nitrogen over time
- Eastern Europe
- Thailand
How they compare
Eastern Europe currently reports 1.09 million t against 337,621 t in Thailand, a difference of 754,209 t.
That makes Eastern Europe's figure about 3.2 times Thailand's.
The two have swapped places 4 times across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Eastern Europe ahead.
Eastern Europe ranks 11th and Thailand ranks 16th of 37 regions.
Across the 7 decades both report, Eastern Europe averaged higher in 6 and Thailand in 1.

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
