How they compare

Eswatini currently reports 1,954 t against 1,845 t in Turkmenistan, a difference of 109 t.

That makes Eswatini's figure about 1.1 times Turkmenistan's.

The two have swapped places 10 times across 32 shared years of data; in 1992 it was Eswatini ahead.

Eswatini ranks 116th and Turkmenistan ranks 118th of 176 countries.

Eswatini has averaged higher in every one of the 4 decades both report.

Head to head by decade

Decade Eswatini Turkmenistan Difference Ahead
1990s 1,691 t 1,198 t 493.2 t Eswatini
2000s 1,804 t 1,733 t 70.89 t Eswatini
2010s 1,944 t 1,672 t 272.32 t Eswatini
2020s 1,938 t 1,801 t 136.41 t Eswatini

Averages of every year both report within each decade.

The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
