How they compare

Israel currently reports 1,947 t against 1,774 t in Namibia, a difference of 173 t.

That makes Israel's figure about 1.1 times Namibia's.

The two have swapped places 4 times across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Israel ahead.

Israel ranks 117th and Namibia ranks 119th of 176 countries.

Israel has averaged higher in every one of the 7 decades both report.

Head to head by decade

Decade Israel Namibia Difference Ahead
1960s 1,139 t 329.28 t 809.39 t Israel
1970s 1,707 t 408.24 t 1,299 t Israel
1980s 1,726 t 498.2 t 1,228 t Israel

The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
