How they compare

Israel currently reports 1,947 t against 1,845 t in Turkmenistan, a difference of 102 t.

That makes Israel's figure about 1.1 times Turkmenistan's.

The two have swapped places 12 times across 32 shared years of data; in 1992 it was Israel ahead.

Israel ranks 117th and Turkmenistan ranks 118th of 176 countries.

Israel has averaged higher in every one of the 4 decades both report.

Head to head by decade

Decade Israel Turkmenistan Difference Ahead
1990s 1,791 t 1,198 t 592.71 t Israel
2000s 1,938 t 1,733 t 204.82 t Israel
2010s 1,862 t 1,672 t 189.53 t Israel
2020s 2,150 t 1,801 t 348.54 t Israel

Averages of every year both report within each decade.

The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
