Middle Africa vs Viet Nam: Biological fixation — Cropland nitrogen
Biological fixation — Cropland nitrogen over time
- Middle Africa
- Viet Nam
How they compare
Middle Africa currently reports 387,479 t against 228,001 t in Viet Nam, a difference of 159,478 t.
That makes Middle Africa's figure about 1.7 times Viet Nam's.
The two have swapped places 1 time across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Viet Nam ahead.
Middle Africa ranks 3rd and Viet Nam ranks 5th of 18 regions.
Across the 7 decades both report, Middle Africa averaged higher in 2 and Viet Nam in 5.

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
