How they compare

Russian Federation currently reports 690,363 t against 228,001 t in Viet Nam, a difference of 462,362 t.

That makes Russian Federation's figure about 3.0 times Viet Nam's.

The two have swapped places 4 times across 32 shared years of data; in 1992 it was Russian Federation ahead.

Russian Federation ranks 7th and Viet Nam ranks 5th of 176 countries.

Across the 4 decades both report, Russian Federation averaged higher in 2 and Viet Nam in 2.

Head to head by decade

Decade Russian Federation Viet Nam Difference Ahead

The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
