Small island developing States (SIDS) vs Zambia: Biological fixation — Cropland nitrogen
Biological fixation — Cropland nitrogen over time
- Small island developing States (SIDS)
- Zambia
How they compare
Zambia currently reports 108,908 t against 71,775 t in Small island developing States (SIDS), a difference of 37,133 t.
That makes Zambia's figure about 1.5 times Small island developing States (SIDS)'s.
The two have swapped places 1 time across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Small island developing States (SIDS) ahead.
Small island developing States (SIDS) ranks 31st and Zambia ranks 31st of 32 groups.
Across the 7 decades both report, Small island developing States (SIDS) averaged higher in 6 and Zambia in 1.

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
