How they compare

Uzbekistan currently reports 275.13 kg/ha against 79.47 kg/ha in Europe, a difference of 195.66 kg/ha.

That makes Uzbekistan's figure about 3.5 times Europe's.

Across all 32 years both countries report, Uzbekistan has been ahead every year.

Europe ranks 15th and Uzbekistan ranks 17th of 32 groups.

Uzbekistan has averaged higher in every one of the 4 decades both report.

Head to head by decade

Decade Europe Uzbekistan Difference Ahead
1990s 79.85 kg/ha 157.08 kg/ha 77.23 kg/ha Uzbekistan

The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
