How they compare

Arab World currently reports 5.35 Mt CO2e against 0.5911 Mt CO2e in Poland, a difference of 4.76 Mt CO2e.

That makes Arab World's figure about 9.0 times Poland's.

The two have swapped places 1 time across 55 shared years of data; in 1970 it was Poland ahead.

Arab World ranks 27th and Poland ranks 27th of 45 groups.

Arab World has averaged higher in every one of the 6 decades both report.

Head to head by decade

Decade Arab World Poland Difference Ahead
1970s 0.396 Mt CO2e 0.3346 Mt CO2e 0.0614 Mt CO2e Arab World
1980s 1.2 Mt CO2e 0.3307 Mt CO2e 0.8649 Mt CO2e Arab World

A measure of annual emissions of nitrous oxide (N2O), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the transportation sector (subsector of the energy sector) including IPCC 2006 codes 1.A.3.a Civil Aviation, 1.A.3.b_noRES Road Transportation no resuspension, 1.A.3.c Railways, 1.A.3.d Water-borne Navigation, 1.A.3.e Other Transportation. The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
